Case Study

University of Denver.

The University saw an opportunity to leverage its already existing assets — its world renowned professors, gorgeous campus, and award winning facilities — to strengthen its relationship with its community and parent city.

The School of Professional and Continuing Studies, already experts in adult education, commissioned a launch of a Public Humanities program that would custom design over 80 seminars, lectures, and events a year that invited the cultural and intellectual enthusiasts to play on the university’s campus — simply for the love of learning.

What would follow was nothing short of a love affair — like minded adults meeting new friends over inspired conversation and exploration; professors reinspired by teaching enthusiastic and accomplished adults; increased rates of admissions in udnergraduate and graduate programs, and the community rediscovered it’s apprecaition and respect for the university.

Skill’s required to launch this program? It’s a soup to nuts operation: market research; business planning; curriculum design; editorial copywriting; recruiting, hiring, training of staff and faculty; design of administrative system; marketing and communication plans, and event planning.
